Best Glasses for your Face

in Buyer's Guide, Daily Life Hacks

There are so many different glasses options out there. Let’s talk specifically about horn rimmed glasses and aviator glasses. These are the two most popular glasses shapes, but one may suit you better than the other.

Horn Rimmed Glasses

Horn Rimmed glasses are a popular style of glasses seen being worn by geeky heroes in movies to your fancy hipster on the street. Horn rimmed glasses get their name because they were originally made from actual animal horns or tortoise shells. Now that material is super unethical in use, but horn-rimmed glasses still achieve the look through thick plastic designs around the edges. People with diamond shaped faces look great in horn rimmed glasses. If you have prominent cheek bones, horn rimmed glasses will look great on you. They add a trendy hipster touch to your outfit and are subtle enough to pair with anything.

Aviator Glasses

Like the name suggests, aviator glasses were initially designed for pilots to wear. They were designed to help protect pilots while in flight. The large design not only protects the eye area completely but helps cut down glare from the sun. This is definitely the choice for if you want to have prime functionality in your glasses. The brand Ray Bans popularized the aviator glasses to what they are today. If you have an oval shaped face, these glasses will look great on you. Since they are quite large, having a longer rather than wider face is key to looking great in aviators.

Conclusion

It can be hard to know what glasses look good on you and which don’t. Both horn rimmed glasses and aviator glasses are a great choice for you if you want a simple look with all the perks of a trendy design and shape.
