Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera is popular for its skin healing properties and for its usage in skincare products. However, Aloe Vera has many other properties that most of the people are unaware of. It is one of the most useful plants when it comes to cleaning harmful chemical s from the air. Thus, planting Aloe Vera in your home would ensure healthier air quality which would also help in reducing overall stress levels.

Scindapsus Treubii

Also known as Treubii Moonlight is one of the best plants for any indoor setting and their flexible nature makes them even more suitable for beginners. Scindapsus Treubii can survive and thrive in different temperatures, however, you may find your plant struggling in colder temperatures. Also, try to mist and water your plant once a week to maintain humidity levels around the plant.

Rubber Tree

Rubber tree is the first choice of most of the people when getting started with gardening. It is one of the most low-maintenance plants that are effortless to grow. It can survive low-light exposure and can even thrive in colder climates because of its flexible nature. However, you must make sure to check the plant for any pest attack such as mealybugs that can hamper the growth of your plant.

Thus, if you are a beginner, a rubber tree can be the perfect choice before you move on to high-maintenance species.

English Ivy

If you are looking for a perennial vine for your home then English Ivy could be perfect for your home. Apart from its gorgeous foliage, English Ivy is known for reducing harmful particles in the air, improving overall air quality. Also, it is helpful in fighting off mold in your home which makes it a good choice for homes that are prone to mold attacks.

It only requires 4 hours of direct sunlight with a generous amount of watering and you would notice rapid growth of the plant.

Snake Plant

Don’t let the name of this green beauty scare you away from this plant. The snake plant got its name from its upright leaves and is sometimes also known as Mother-in-law’s tongue in a funny way. If you are looking for a low maintenance plant and fear that you might not be able to follow the strict routine to maintain your plant then a snake plant would be a perfect choice for you. Just make sure to never overwater the plant as it may result in root rot because of consistently moist soil.

You can place this plant in your bedroom as it releases oxygen at night. Hence, this would help in improving your sleep quality.

Chrysanthemum

Add colors to your kitchen or any other room with this cheerful plant. It is one of the lowest maintenance plants with only requirement of indirect bright sunlight. Thus, choose a spot near a window that gives it access to bright light then witness the rapid growth of this plant.

Zebra Plant

This combination of green and white would add life to almost every setting it is placed in. However, you have to ensure to place this plant in a spot that has plenty of bright indirect sunlight which is vital for its growth. Misting is once a week would add to the growth of this plant as it loves humidity and high levels of humidity would boost the plant’s growth.
