How do I keep my house cool in extreme heat?

Suppose you are residing in a locality where there is a lot of heat during the summer season that can be an annoying problem. During the summer season when you enter an air-conditioned shopping mall, then you feel a lot of comforts when the breeze hits your face. So why don’t you bring the same amount of comfort in your home? There are some things that you can do to keep your home cool in the heatwave. The simple answer to this question would be to install an air conditioning system in your house. But there are some other things that you need to keep in your mind during the heat wave as well.

In this article, we will discuss how you can keep your house cool in extreme heat. So keep on reading to find out more information below about blinds online.

1. Install curtains or blinds

If you do not have curtains and Blinds installed in your home, then you should do that during the summer season. After installing the curtains window treatments, you will be able to block the maximum amount of sunlight and heat from coming inside your house. This way, you will not only prevent the sunlight from entering your home, but the inside temperature of your home will stay calm as much as possible during the summer weather.

2. Blackout blinds

The best type of Blinds that you can install in your home during the summer season is blackout blinds. After the installation of blackout blinds on your home Windows you will be able to keep maximum heat outside of your home. This way, you will be able to maintain a Calming and comfortable temperature inside your home.

3. Ice fan

It might sound obvious to turn on an electric fan when the temperature is boiling. But the real trick is to place a bowl of Icy water in front of the electric fan on top of a table. This trick will work because when the ice evaporates the air inside the room will become calm. This is a great way to take the temperature of your room cool instantly.

4. Icepack

You can go down the temperature inside your home after taking a hot water bottle in the freezer. You can make your ice pack, and you can use it whenever you come from outside. This way, there will be something at home to hold you down immediately after you come from the scorching heat of sunlight.

5. Bed sheets

Another way you can tackle it to eat during the night time is to place the bedsheets of your bed inside a plastic bag. After doing so, you can place this plastic bag inside your freezer. The bedsheets will become cool, and you will feel comfortable lying on those bedsheets in a heatwave. It is a quick fix way, but you can relieve your stress from the day by trying this technique at nighttime.

6. Cotton bed sheets

It is recommended to use cotton bed sheets during the summer season and the heatwave. It is not recommended to use Silk bedsheets during hot weather. Cotton is a breathable material, and you will feel light and cool when you are lying on cotton bed sheets during the nighttime.
